Conservatories:
... put a lean to conservatory on my semidetached. It went up efficiently in 5 weeks but that s about all I can say on a possitive note. During the build it took constant involvement with myself liasing with the builders and the project manager as they kept changing what had been agreed and playing on poor communications. Funny, I thought I paid for professional service so I would not have to oversee the build. The ... Read the full review: Heaton Conservatories Bolton by mark |

Conservatories ... lovely conservatory has just been finished by Oakland. We had three quotes from local companies but choose Oakland because we wanted one company to do all the work we didn t like the idea of paying the builder, fitter, electrician and plasterer seperately. From start to finish it took 3 weeks, in the early stages while the concrete and brickwork was setting they weren t there everyday. We have a Georgian style 4 metres x 4 metres, a gulley moved, a tap moved, plastered walls inside, 4 double sockets and 4 eyeball downlighters. We re facing North out the back so we also went for insulated walls and floor and a low e coating on the glass. The total cost was £8960... Pop up Gazebo with 3 Side Panels 3x3m ... do regular outdoor events as part of my work and up until this summer have used the cheaper "pole" type of gazebo from Argos. This year I treated myself to this gazebo from Amazon for £70 and what a difference! It can be put up by yourself although is quicker if someone else just helps you pull open the top but now I ve had a pop up gazebo I ll never go back. This gazebo, in smart navy blue, has its own carry bag, sides included and all ropes and pegs included. It is simply a case of opening the bag, taking out the folded gazebo - opening the the "roof" to its fullest, raising the height by pressing in a press stud on each leg and pegging down the f... Conservatories ... Conservatories have just carried out the installation of my P Shape conservatory. The project can only be described as a success. We took a long time to make up our mind regarding the design but they were happy to let us visit a couple of completed installations to help us decide. We have gone for a glass roof, because we do not like the rain noise you get from polycarbonate sheeting, also the glass has a better heat retention performance, which is very important to us with the room facing due North. The company do offer the full range of glazing options, including the Pilkington Activ self-cleaning, which we did not order, which is my only regret as I am finding ...
