I do alot of fundraising events and after the Argos £13.49 gazebo blew away we decided to invest in a sturdier construction. We also wanted one that didn't take forever to build, so after scouring the internet we came across these ones on Amazon.
We purchased it on the Friday and on the Monday it was delivered. It came all in one box which was quite heavy to lift. Upon opening it we discovered to our delight it was exactly what we were looking for in that it was all in one piece, with the exception of the roof cover and the four side panels.
The first time we put it up we had four of us one for each leg so it was easier to walk outwards with it and it obviously expand and push up and out. We extended each leg by only one section and put on the roof cover then before we raised it to full height otherwise wouldn't have been able to put it on.
The gazebo can be raised up a few times, simply by pushing in the pin and it popping out again at the next hole, so you can have three different heights depending upon the weather conditions.
The second time, it only took two of us and a bit of running around but we got it up and ready to go in 10 minutes. The time consuming thing is the roof cover as it has all these Velcro ties to tie it to the frame.
I personally really like the church window panels as it's really nice to be able to look out. It does come with tie downs which are good, but I would recommend using a few extra ones as it only took a small gust of unexpected wind to try and take the gazebo away. To dismantle, its basically the assembly reversed, the cover comes off first, and then it folds in onto itself. The hardest part is folding up the canvas.
Whilst the gazebo itself was really good, and the pop up feature really does save a lot of time, the frame is quite flimsy. We bent one of the lattices at the top of the frame on its third usage, so it really is a question of whether you want the speed of assembly or the frame. At the end of the day you do get what you pay for, and not many gazebos will withstand wind or rain.
I would recommend it.
