... been back to clean it 3 times over 8 months and it is still filthy. I was told the polcarb roof was 1.1u but have still not had written confirmation which was promissed. They said they were clean workers but they damaged the flags, hosepipe & front kerb from the skip. The conservatory itself has two archways from the kitchen and dining room with a wall in between them which was the original house back wall. This wall showed damp after one month which they claim is not their problem and due to original house problems...more

Premium Review South Coast Windows and Conservatories Peacehaven (167 words)
by - written on 23/08/07 (Somewhat useful, 165 readings)
Rating:

Live in east sussex and planning a conservatory - beware of buying from South Coast Windows and Conservatories Group based in peacehaven. We ordered a conservatory from them at the end of April 07 and currently (nearing end of August) it is still not fully complete - ok they did all the bits so you have to pay up the balance of the money (in our case £15k) and then they lost interest. Actually they didnt have masses of interest in the first place - we received no detailed plans, there was no attention to detail (ie were they creating damp problems for the future by not ensuring that rain could run away from the conservatory). We have spent many a weekend popping by the ...  Read the complete review

Buying a conservatory from South Coast Windows, Peacehaven? (117 words)
by Alison McCafferty - written on 23/08/07
Rating:

Buying a conservatory from South Coast Windows, Peacehaven? Only do it if you have loads of time and dont mind making loads of nagging phone calls and visits to the show room. You will need to project manage the whole thing as they pay no attention to detail. They use all subcontractors that dont have a clue what the other subcontractors are doing. They were incredibly helpful and an absolute joy to deal with from start to finish. Installation of our conservatory was smooth, stress free and all the workmen prompt, courteous and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending Planet to friends, neighbours. Highly ...  Read the complete review

Beware Anglain Conservatories (82 words)
by Heather - written on 14/11/07
Rating:

Our experience with Anglian Conservatories has been awful! They're great and professional when it comes to giving you a quote and taking your deposit, but then they go off the radar! We signed our contract in December 06. It is now November 07 and we do not have even the slightest inkling of a conservatory AND we are struggling to get our deposit back. No one in the company will take responsibility or respond to our calls. My advice: STAY AWAY and BE ...  Read the complete review
