~ Gardman Easy Arch ~

When I moved in here a year ago, the garden was really bare with nothing much going on at all, and it was my granddad who commented that an arch at the top of the steps leading to the grassy area of the garden would look nice, I agreed with him as he loves to garden and has an amazing garden himself so thought that once I had the house sorted the garden would be next, but my granddad had other ideas and went ahead and bought an arch for the garden which I am incredibly grateful for.

It came delivered in a small compact box and even though I knew that it would probably come flat packed I didn't quite understand how the box was quite so small, anyway I left my granddad get on with it and he had the arch erected in about 10 -15 minutes which I found very impressive as I had visions of me standing there turning the air blue in temper!Lol!

As I mentioned the arch was to be erected at the top of the steps, one side has a slim grassy strip next to the path and the other goes onto the large grassy area so it was no problem in getting the posts into the ground. My granddad had brought with him two tiny rose plants which he placed either side and has said that in time they will climb up the arch way with a little help. As of yet this has not happened and the plants are still relatively small but I am sure that when the times comes it will look amazing!

At the moment the arch way is a simple green steel construction and even though it is quite plain it does add a nice feature to the garden. Is has survived a horrid winter and still looks great and also has withstood my five year old who like to swing on it, it isn't the strongest construction due it being quite thin yet it still looks great and I anticipate the rose plants climbing it with glee.

I am sure my granddad paid in the region of £15 for this but I can see that Amazon currently have it priced at £28.91.
