It's a bit of a surprise to find myself writing a review about an outdoor plastic storage unit - mainly because I was so adamant that I didn't want to purchase one of these things in the first place. A couple of years ago now, we finally got around to putting up a traditional wooden shed at the very top of the garden. My other half was not content with that though and was insistent that we also needed one of these plastic storage units, manufactured by Keter, to save us having to troop up to the top of the garden every time we needed to get our son's bike out or needed tools for something or other. My main objection to buying one of these giant plastic boxes ... Read the complete review

I find this box to be a really useful bit of kit in the garden. We bought one from B&Q, but hit a stumbling block when we tried to ram it into the back of a Fiat Punto. We managed it eventually - with no help from the gaggle of laughing Saturday boys looking on - but they didn't laugh so hard once we took it out of the huge box it came in, along with all the polystyrene and plastic and gave it to them to dispose of :) It was easy to assemble, and only took about 20 minutes from start to finish - no need for instructions with this one, it all slots together, no screws or nails required. Despite its size it holds a HUGE amount of stuff. In ... Read the complete review

The Keter Garden Store is a plastic shed. The shed, like many wooden sheds, comes flat-packed but, unlike wooden sheds this is really easy to put together and requires very little skill! Some strength is required to get the joints to bed home fully but no tools are required. It only took around 30-40 minutes to complete and site the shed. The standard Keter is large enough to take a variety of garden tools and equipment. Ours happily takes a large Flymo (with grass collection box), a pressure washer, strimmer, portable BBQ, all garden tools and a child's scooter and tractor! Yes, the toys do sit atop the other equipment but they all fit with ease. In the ... Read the complete review

I was sweeping and gathering yet more fallen leaves which had arrived in the garden, when I found myself musing just how much energy, effort and materials are involved in maintaining an outside space. Pausing a while to admire my efforts before the next invasion, my gaze fell upon the Keter Garden Store which stoically sits in a corner and never needs tending.......... **Why Would I Want a Great Lump of Plastic in My Garden?** This plastic storage box is unbelievably useful, and once in-situ needs no further attention than perhaps an annual wash down. I just use a jet washer as and when I blast off the patio area. No painting, no oiling, it just ... Read the complete review

I bought a Keter 'shed' from B&Q last month, under the label GREAT SPACE HIGH. My first disappointment was that only when I opened the package were its limitions made obvious. I.E, on the back page of the brochure. Assembly was reasonably easy except for putting the roof onto the front side uprights. The upright door holding former had gone concave and it was difficult to marry the male fitting of the roof into the female fittings. Over the weekend light breezes changed to gusting, strong winds blowing the roof off, making it neccessary for me to reassemble it three times (finally bolting the roof on). I would say to anyone thinking of buying this 'shed' only do so ... Read the complete review
