I bought this storage shed about 6 months ago. I was wary when I inspected the one outside the store as the lid was cracked when I asked i was told it had been vandalised and was nothing to worry about. When I opened my box I found the lid of mine was also cracked so back to the store I went. No problem I was given another straight away. Building was easy. However it says you may fit a padlock for added security what it should say is that if you don't fit a lock every time its windy the lid blows off and if it raining anything inside gets ruined. This happened to me for about a week I kept blaming the children for messing around and not closing the lid, before I realised what was happening. It has ended up that I now have 2 broken sides and a broken door hinge, where a strong wind ripped the lid off and broke the surrounding plastic. So I fitted a lock today I heard a massive bang from the garden looked out only to find yes the lid had blown off into a neighbours garden again, I had been gardening yesterday and must have forgotten to replace the lock. It says it has a 10 year guarantee and as far as I can tell not using a lock does not mean I have broken this guarantee, but we shall see when I try to get a replacement /refund. I will let you know when I have any further information.
