I really do enjoy gardening and avoid it as much as possible although at a push i can cut the grass and dig up the weeds. Apart from grass we have one very large oak tree at the bottom of our garden and a small border down the side that i actually do plant a few coloured shrubs in. My girls are very keen gardeners and their little hobby has steamed from nursery where they have learned to plant seeds, watering and weeding. Both my girls have their very own garden tools and get to dig the border. I remember when I was little we had 'real' toadstools in the garden, those gorgeous (yet probably poisonous) ones with the red and white tops. I loved them, but when my dad caught my little sister about to take a big bite out of one he dug them up and presumably bleached the ground as they never reappeared. My love of decorative mushrooms has never diminished, I also love the edible little fungi but play it safe and only munch mushrooms bought from the supermarket!
