Poundland Pyramid Hanging Basket
Advantages: Look nice and neat, suit most gardens, cheap
Disadvantages: None really
I really can not believe the cold turn in the weather, it has been hard to find time between the showers to do bits in the garden. I really want all gardening work done so if we do get a nice summer I can sit back and enjoy!
Poundland - Pyramid Hanging Baskets:
'Unique shaped pyramid hanging basket in light coloured straw outer. Includes hanging chain and hook'
Personally I have found this year the Pound shops and 99p shops seem to have an excellent selection in for the garden. I have purchased a lot of items from there now just to jazz up my garden a little without having to pay out loads of money. One of the best parts is that they look more expensive than that I paid!
I purchased two of these hanging baskets so I could have one either side of the sliding front door at the side of my house. I didn't want any thing huge so these were just the right size for me. What attracted me to them was there shape, they wasn't the traditional round baskets you normally see.
As I have gone for a lighter tone of colours down the side of the house the beach colour on either really fit in perfectly. Being a simple colour I should imagine they will suit most gardens colour wise, plus being plainer it will help the flowers stand out more when then blossom.
These baskets are an upside down pyramid shape and have been fully lined to so you have extra protection within the basket. Each corner has a thick chain which all comes to together as one at the top with a solid hook at the end.
The feel of the basket is a little rough but not like you shall be holding it! It has a weaved straw like effect which I think is really neat and fresh looking for the garden.
When putting my plants in I did have to do this while I hung the baskets due to its shape it will not stand up like a round one. I filled the basket with compost first then added my plants I chose sweet pea and I love the way it trails when growing and the stunning colours. Then for the middle I chose a geranium as the think the colours match well to the sweet pea.
I found the basket very sturdy to work with and feel it will last be a good while yet. I am certainly very happy with my purchase and can not wait for the flowers to get bigger and blossom.
Price and Availability:
I purchased mine from Poundland and costing, yep just £1.00! You can also find these in the 99p shop too.
I am really pleased with my purchase and love the way they look, for just £1.00 I think this is amazing value for money. Looks neat, hard-wearing and cheap!
Five out of five stars from me.
Thank you for reading.
