Betterware Weeding Tool
Advantages: Easy to use and store away as needed
Disadvantages: Clearing large areas of path etc, can be hard work
~A better garden weeding tool from Betterware!~
This useful and easy to use weeding tool from Betterware is a simple product that can be a helpful addition to the range of items required in order to keep pathways and driveways looking neat and weed free. Having never really been a fan of the range of Betterware products that are on sale I must say that the only reason I bought one of these was that I had tried a variety of other products to help keep the weeds at bay and had found them to be hard going and often not really up to the job. I saw this and hoped it may prove to be of use and I am happy to say that it have been a good purchase so far.
~Product design/ Ease of use~
This product is small and easy to handle with it having a neat well formed shape that suits the job it was made for. The orange toned handle is easy to hold and although it can become tiring on the hands when using this to clear a wider area of pathway or driveway, I have found it to be no more tiring than any of the other similar weed clearing tools I have used over the years. The handle is meant to be non slip when in use and I would tend to agree with that in the main as it seems to do what is should when using the tool to scrape away weeds between block paving etc.
The weeding tool can be hung on the wall of a shed or garage after use if wanted, as there is a notch provided on the handle for this purpose. I find that storing the weeding tool this way can save time when looking for the tool amongst the array of other larger garden tools that inhabit the shed, when wanting to use it. The business end of the weeding tool has a simple yet effective hardened steel blade, which is angled so that it can be dug into the gaps between paved areas. This works quite well and is better than many other similar products I have used for weed clearing on block paving and tiled or paved areas of the garden.
~Price and rating~
The price of the product is reasonable when comparing it with other similar weeding tools with it being sold at £3.99 via Betterware direct and at slightly less if buying from Amazon. It can be bought at the moment for a reduced price of £2.99 from Betterware, which is a fair price for what you get as it can be a useful addition to the range of tools needed in order to combat weeds in paving etc. As I am not overly keen on using weed killing sprays etc on a regular basis I find that this weeding tool is an easy to use alternative that works well with a little elbow grease. In terms of rating the product I feel it is worthy of a 4 star product rating as it is simple and efficient as well as being well priced.
