I saw this in our Betterware catalogue and thought it looks very handy, I am a sucker for a tool that will make my life easier; I thought I would give it a go.

It cost £4.99 and was a very bright and sunny orange colour. It had a right angle metal bit at the end that is meant to be used to clear the weeds from in-between concrete patio slabs in gardens etc. The orange handle was relatively comfortable to hold although it is made from a hard plastic. We have just had out garden patio re-done and in the middle of our garden we have a patio area with large slabs in it, this was the area we have weeds in. I started to use the tool and quickly found that unless the slabs have a wide gap between them, you can't get the tool in between them. Also after trying to lever the weeds out, the handle started to wiggle a little bit. I used this a few times to try to remove all of the weeds but the handle gave up the ghost before all the weeds were removed. I couldn't do all the weeds in one go because the handle hurt my hand, then the handle came away from the metal scraper so I threw it away. I now use salt which kills them all and keeps them away. Cheaper that £5.
