Qualcast Cobra 32

This mower is quiet as claimed. The one major problem I have found is that it can only cope with the lawn when it is still quite short. Once the grass gets longer it has a total lack of power and can't cope. I have found on numerous occassions that the blades simply will not turn when the going gets heavier and found myself having to cut the lawn twice at different height settings. If you are say retired and have the time to cut the lawn at regular intervals then this mower is for you as it stripes the lawn nicely and is light in weight. I was bought this lawnmower for a present a couple of years ago. Firstly it is very easy to put together and feels solidly made. One of the reasons for choosing this mower is that it has an induction motor, which is heavier duty than cheaper alternatives - the fact that there are no brushes to wear out is a major attraction. The height adjustment is possibly the most simple to use of any mower that I have ever used - an easy to reach lever raises / lowers the mower to one of seven heights, rating from the test match strip at Lords to lush country meadow! It's nearly time to get the mower out again, unfortunately, and back to the weekly, or sometimes twice weekly, chore. I like my grass to look nice and also like those naff stripes in the front garden. I find that my present mower does this easily and also quietly.
