... nice and light making it easier to use. The straight handle is 1200mm long which is about the right length for me to use - I am about 5 foot 6 inches by the way.
The rake can be used for a variety of things such as raking up leaves in the autumn or as I said earlier raking out the moss from your lawn in the spring. If you were clearing leaves the way to use the rake would be to place the head of the rake on the ground, grip the handle and pull it towards you gathering the leaves inside the spread of the rake as you go.

At my previous house I lived alone for about thirteen years so all the gardening had to be done by me or it didn't get done. I had a small garden at the front of the house with a pocket handkerchief lawn and another slightly larger garden at the back of the house with another small lawn. One of the jobs that I needed to do once each year in spring was to rake the two small lawns to get the moss out and give it a bit of a boost before its growing season.
