The Wilkinson Sword Telescopic Hand Shears are great for people who tend to get backache or strain in their arms because they are so light. he telescopic mechanism is great for not only reaching upwards to those higher branches but also reaching across to bushes further back in the border without treading on border plants. To extend the shears you must twist the rubber handles, pull the shears to the length you need then twist the handles back to their original position to lock the shears at that length. A few times when first using these shears I unlocked the handles by accident which was a bit annoying but I soon got the hang of using them without doing that. Because the blades are Wilkinson Sword they remain sharp for ages: Ive had mine for over a year and still not had to sharpen them, which is really convenient. All in all these are a really great idea and very well designed to make trimming the garden even more enjoyable.
