Come into the garden with me I want to plant some pansies for the winter flowerbed. You take the pansies I will just get some tools out of my garden shed. I need a trowel I have several. This one is one of my favourites it is a stainless steel Wilkinson sword trowel. Mine is several years old now I can not remember how much it cost but at www.tooled- up.com it costs £8.68p

Wilkinson swords began making swords in 1772 and have progressed to making razors and shaving equipment and gardening equipment.
My Wilkinson sword trowel is made of polished stainless steel let me dig a few little holes in my chalky soil to plant the pansies into. The blade of the trowel is good cuts through the soil easily. The blade is rust resistant I will still clean wipe it when I have finished using it. Would you like to hold it by the wooden handle it is shaped to make it comfortable to hold. There I have put the pansies into the holes can you use the trowel to get some soil and fill the holes in around the roots thanks.
While we are here lets just dig up this dandelion that has grown here Oh thank you for digging around the thyme there. As you can see this trowel is easy to use and does a good job of digging into the surface soil. I also use it in the greenhouse when I am potting plants it’s a useful little trowel. I expect I shall be putting it away soon for winters rest and use it again in the spring

Mine is a standard hand trowel but they also make a smaller transplanting towel. I like Wilkinson sword gardening tools all those I have I have owned for several years they are easy to use. I would certainly recommend them. This trowel would make a good Christmas present for a gardener. Thanks for reading happy gardening
