Gatineau Nutriactive Lily Make-Up Remover ... those who have never used Gatineau before, they are a top of the range French skincare company who have been going for around 75 years. They combine biotechnology with botanical products and aim to deliver "state of the art formulas" giving visible results. I bought this from QVC for £20 which got me a 250ml lily cleanser and 250ml daffodil toner - not a bad price at all. This lily cleanser/makeup remover is designed for dry, dehydrated skin. The cleanser has a lovely milky fluid consistency and comes out the bottle pretty easily. Gatineau Serenite Delicate Make-Up Remover ... couple of years ago I bought quite a lot of Gatineau anti-ageing skin products from QVC & have mixed opinions about their range - some were great, some OK & all very expensive in my opinion. I hasten to add this was well before the credit crunch & no way would I pay so much these days! One of the lotions I bought is suitable for all skin types (ie not necessarily for old skin like mine) & is called Serenite & is described as a soothing make-up remover . The 150ml bottle cost just under £9 & is the sort of product you don t mind leaving out on show as, like all Gatineau products, it s very stylish & expensive-looking. The top just unscrew... Gatineau Mateliance Effervescent Formula ... seems a long time ago now (sigh!) when I had any spare cash, but when I did I invested a little money in my skincare products believing that if products cost more they must be better? The menopause seemed to age my skin quite quickly & the Gatineau products with melatogenine seemed to help with the fine lines & wrinkles but I needed something very effective for shifting a few blackheads. I tried several products including strips, creams & lotions but nothing seemed able to penetrate the wretched things which make me look as if I m permanently frowning!
