For those who have never used Gatineau before, they are a top of the range French skincare company who have been going for around 75 years. They combine biotechnology with botanical products and aim to deliver "state of the art formulas" giving visible results.

I bought this from QVC for £20 which got me a 250ml lily cleanser and 250ml daffodil toner - not a bad price at all. This lily cleanser/makeup remover is designed for dry, dehydrated skin.

The cleanser has a lovely milky fluid consistency and comes out the bottle pretty easily. It smells beautiful - very much of fresh lillies as the name suggests and it melts away all makeup excellently including mascara. You can either wash this off with water or with cotton wool soaked in the daffodil toner. It never makes your skin feel tight and you feel as though you actually have put a light moisturiser on when you take it off. Very hydrating. For this reason I would not recommend anyone without dry skin uses it otherwise you could end up with too oily a face.

Summary: If you have dry, tight, dehydrated skin then this is a must!
