... so as you would assume these balls are aimed at players who are trying to get a little extra distance in their shots. I bought a pack of these around five years ago. The reason I bought these were two fold, one, they offered extra distance and two they were cheap. So naturally these seemed like a good ball for what I was after.

There are so many golf balls on the market these days that it truly does boggle the mind. You may thing that there are Titleist balls, Callaway balls, Nike balls etc.... But each company has a large collection of different balls. That means that when you come to buy golf balls you have incredible choice. One of the reasons for this is that the technology is always improving. A manufacturer by bring out a ball one year and then bring out a slightly better version the year after. Another reason is that players look for different things in golf balls, some want length, some want accuracy and control, some want to be able to impart large amounts of spin on their ball.
