Advantages: Large surface area, keeps me dry, useful and practical'
Disadvantages: It has a very large Dunlop sign on it which I believe takes away its good looks!
Introduction:
I have never been very into golf and it is only in the last couple years that I have grown to love the sport! My grand father got me into golf when he took me to the driving range and taught me the correct technique. I then decided I needed some clubs, I went to sports direct in Crawley. They had a cheap full set of Dunlop clubs, a pair of golf shoes and an umbrella for £89. It was one of there deals, a quick look online and this umbrella is available at around £10. Mine was more of a freebie but I have used it many times and not just on the golf course.
Style:
It has the typical golfers look about it, the two tone colours. It is blue and white and looks rather nice. It is very similar to many other golf umbrellas on the market. One design feature that lets it down is the huge Dunlop logo on the side of the umbrella. The umbrella is rather large. It is a very basic looking umbrella and I would probably say it is a manly umbrella. You wouldn't see many girls using this umbrella.
Practicality:
Overall this is a useful bit of kit. It works by pushing up a bit of plastic untill it gets to the catch, the same as any other umbrella. It is easy to do and easy to release. It is held together when down by a small strap which is made with velcro. The umbrella is rather large in size and only just fits in my car boot. I leave it in the back of my car and occasionally end up using it on the walk to work or in town. It looks like a Golf umbrella but still doesn't stop you from using it anywhere else. The only thing you must be careful off is its width, its rather large and I have hit a few people with it when walking past. It is large enough to fit two people under when on a walk and is not too heavy to hold. It keeps you dry which is the main thing so for that reason there really are not many BAd points too it. It also can withstand a heavy breeze. Overall it is practical and great to keep you dry! It does it's job we'll and is available at a cheap price.
Overall:
This umbrella is very useful and handy. It's stylish and easy to use, it keeps you dry and is almost perfect. I am happy with my brolly! I will give this a 4 star rating. I would like it a lot more if it didn't have the large Dunlop signs over it. Thanks for reading my review. I hope it helped you out! The cheapest place for these is sports direct! Josh
Summary: A very simple golfing umbrella which is useful and looks good!!
