Helps to keeps everything dry and clean while playing golf

Whenever I play golf I always make sure that I have a golf towel as they are so useful to clean your clubs, your balls and your hands and almost anything else that needs a quick wipe. I bought this Mizuno Tri-Fold clip towel from my local golf shop and paid £8.50 and they came in pink, blue and black. I bought the blue one as I thought it was a nice bright shade of blue but was still dark enough to not show all the marks and dirt. These towels are available at golf shops and online and the prices range from £8.50 to £14.99.

It is 16 inches by 21 inches and the material is cotton velour which is very soft to the touch. It has the Mizuno logo in white at the top of the towel and a white stripe at the bottom. It has a tri fold construction which as suggested folds it over three times for ease of storage. This makes it thin but still quite long so you just have to make sure that it is not hanging down the back if you have a pull trolley as it can get caught up in the wheels. There is a metal swivel clip which you attach to your bag on one of the many clips so you don't have to worry about dropping or losing it when you are playing.

It is very absorbent and mops up moisture quickly and easily. If the ground is a bit damp or moist I will usually give all of my clubs a very quick wipe over with the towel and the same with my balls. It is also useful to dry your hands if the weather is wet as it is hard to grip your club if your hand is not completely dry and they can also become sore.

I just throw this towel in the washing machine when it gets too dirty, I would say that on average I will wash it every two or three times I use it unless it is particularly muddy and I have used it for my shoes as well as my clubs and balls. As it is a soft cotton material it dries very quickly and I find that if I wash it when I come home from golf it is ready to use the next day. I recommend this golf towel, it is good quality, absorbent and it is a useful addition to my golfing gear.

      Golf towel

One of my must have accessories when I'm wandering round a golf course in this wet, muddy weather is a golf towel.

I have a light blue womens golf bag so this Mizuno dark blue towel goes with it and matches it quite well. Hey, I'm absolutely rubbish at golf so if I can't be good at the sport at least I will look good doing it!

Mizuno make a lot of golf related items and its one of the big names in golf so I like using their products and always feel like I look the part even if I can't play the part. According to an article I read, "Mizuno is a Japanese sports equipment and sports wear company, founded in Osaka in 1906 by Rihachi Mizuno. Mizuno is a leading manufacturer of golf clubs and accessories, being particularly noted for their Grain Flow Forged irons which have been, and continue to be, used by many of the world top professional golfers. For example, Tiger Woods used Mizuno golf clubs while he was in college and continued to use them after he turned professional in 1996, including for his first Masters Tournament victory in 1997, despite being contracted to Titleist at the time. Nick Faldo, Seve Ballesteros, Tommy Nakajima, Luke Donald and Sandy Lyle are other high profile players to have played Mizuno equipment during their careers."

What I like about this towel is that its quite small so you don't have to carry a full size towel with you around the course but its big enough to do its job. I use this towel in a number of ways, I can clean off my balls when they get wet and muddy (yes, I like to spend a lot of time int he wet and muddy rough and not so much time on the fairway!) and the towel dries them off nicely. Plus, this fowl is great for cleaning mud off various items. Often when I have done a swing I will take some of the ground with me and so my club is left with a mound of mud on it. This towel does a really good job of wiping the mud away so I'm not having to use my hands and makes the club clean for the next swing I am going to take.

I also use the towel to wipe off any mud on my golf shoes or any that I get on my hands during the course of a round, it's a really handy item to have. Of course,t he towel gets quite dirty by the time I have finished but it washes really nicely and as it's dark blue it doesn't get as grubby looking as a white towel would do. The towel has the Mizuno logo written on the top of it so you can tell where its from and its nice and simple and classic looking.

The great thing about the towel is that it has a little clip at the top of it which allows you to clip it onto your golf bag so you do not have the hassle of trying to keep it on the bag or finding somewhere to put it as you are going round the course. The towel hangs handily not he side of your golf bag so is right there when you are ready to use it and you don't need to fool around with getting it out and putting it back etc. The fowl is folded length ways in three so it folds up like a little hand towel with the hole and clip at the top so it hands nicely and does not get in the way when you are carrying your golf bag.

All in all, a handy golf accessory.
