I had been looking around for a new driver for a couple of weeks when my friend let me try his Ping G-10 on the driving range and i was amazed at how brilliant it was!

The Ping G-10 has a fantastic feel, very light and makes a cracking sound that is sure to turn a few heads in the range when your really get hold of one. Distance and accuracy are excellent, i was noticably hitting around 20-30 yeards further than with my only RAM driver, which i guess is worth less than half this one. Shows that the better makes like Ping really can make such a difference. Its a good feeling to carry the 250 yard marker on the driving range!

Its great for oncoming winds as well. I was tending to hit lower and penetrating drives i guess you could say and it was rolling for miles. I have a tendancy to hit my drivers too high and for shots to draw or fade too much in the air. The Ping G-10's lower trajectory caused much straighter shots. I think this is because i have the 9 degree draw model.

Put it up against the new Burners, Highbore XLS, FT-5, Burner TP, Cobra LD, Sumo, and Superquad. For sheer distance, accuracy, and fun it's out in front of all of them in my opinion.

The stock grip is quite thin which i dont mind, but it may not be to everybody's taste. I guess you can always get it regripped if its that much of a problem.

Deffinately worth a try if you ever get the chance at a testing range. Its a lot of money, around £200, but you can find it for £165 if you shop around, but worth it if your serious about taking your game to the next level.
