This also has a car icon choice. Which isn't really very great, but it is nice to have something other than an icon.
The voices can be a bit nagging at times when you know you are following traffic directions and the map is incorrect, but then that's a personal thing. I would have liked there to be a "bad directions" button which will fix the direction for a while instead of suggesting it. If ever there was a GPS software that "Just Works" .. this is it. Requires little, if any, configuration. I used this in the UK. I have tried a few other GPS solutions, but always come back to TomTom as I realise the serious mistakes they make or make me lose time. Without a shadow of doubt it is the best. There is also a choice of voices which is always great. Day and night map colors is good, but TomTom also lets you choose from a number of different options. This also has a car icon choice.
