Garmin nuvi 310 Deluxe: ... the deluxe part indicates that this Sat Nav comes with a DVD with European Maps on that can be uploaded if required. I personally have the 310T deluxe, the T means it comes with a Traffic Receiver that indicates any traffic issues, which when it works is a fantastic tool to avoid annoying delays, however it sometimes has trouble locking on to a radio signal. 	Garmin Streetpilot 2610 ... ve had this for nearly 2 years now, it s been replaced by the newer 2620 now, but that s not to say that it s not a good bit of kit, and there are some good bargains to be had these days. I paid £350 for mine, which was just before the 2620 came out. Mine came with a beanbag style car kit, with a speaker built into the cigarette lighter plug. It also came with a really tacky looking bike mount, which I ve since upgraded to a touratech mount for my bike. It s quite a bulky bit of kit, being around 5"x3" on the front, but then it does have a nice big screen. One of the biggest advantages for the 2610 is that it s completely waterproof. 	TomTom One 3rd Edition Great Britain ... have recently purchased a tom tom 3rd edition europe. the reason for purchasing it was beacuse me and some friends were planning on going on holiday to disney land paris and would be getting there by car. i was to do all the driving so we thought it might be a good idea. we drove from devon to portsmouth then ferry to caen then drove to paris. i found it to be useful as a reminder of which way to go round the roundabouts in france, but it really became useful when in the middle of paris. its fair to say that it would have been even more of a nightmare than it was if we didnt have tom tom. most of the time it gave good clear instructions of which way to go. there were a ... 	TomTom Mobile ... purchased tomtom mobile for my Orange SPV C500 when it first arrived in the market. The concept of having GPS navigation system in the mobile was quite new that time. The standalone tomtom was around £400 and was quite chuncky. So I opted to go for this mobile version for £160, and I already had the smartphone to go with it. I first inserted the SD card loaded with TomTom software into Nokia 6600 and once I followed the "quick start" guide, I was up and running within minutes.
