TomTom One 3rd Edition Great Britain ... ONE 3rd edition. I got my tomtom as a Xmas present last year, and wow what a present it was. I like to whizz off for weekends away with my daughter, somerset, Cornwall, London etc and I have always used AA route planner before, which was great, but reading whilst at the wheel isn t really that safe is it! I have also found I can get very stressed if I am trying to find my way somewhere and miss a turning etc. Using the TOMTOM makes my travel experience so much easier and it has made driving in unfamiliar destinations stress free. TomTom One IQ Routes Edition United Kingdom & Ireland ... used TomTom One V2 this is a huge improvement in terms of GPS guidance and overall design of the gadget. This version has the additional feature of IQ routes. What that means is it ll calculate the shortest routes, taking into account of the "short cuts" based on historical data depending on the time of day and day of the week. The supposed result is a shorter journey time. BUT, this isn t always the case. What I have noticed is that it doesn t always pick up what should be the shortest route - so it isn t always 100% reliable (as with all GPS devices). TomTom XL IQ Routes Edition United Kingdom & Ireland ... bought an original TomTom one when i first started driving ans was very impressed with its capability, so much so i upgraded to the XL IQ Routes Edition when i found a good price. The overall interface has been updated to give it a fresher more advanced look but all in all it does the same as my original model. Easy to use and update i would recommend the TomTom to any driver. I have only used this in the Northwest but i have not come across and problems with its functionality.
