Will be the best device you will will find outside of Ann summers

This sat nav is great value for money. Very fast and due to updated software is very fast and accessible. The only downside I can note is that when coming up to an intersection or crossroad, the device can find itself a little confused. But once you know this little quirk is going to appear you very quickly get used to it. I personally take it with me anywhere I go, even when it's just down the street. It makes life so much easier, and gives me that perfect peace of mind when i am out and about. If you don't have this GPS, get it! I cannot stress how much I love this device. The bright display is gorgeous, and the colours display like artwork constantly flowing whilst driving. The swift movement on the screen is not the least bit sickening, which I have found previously with devices such as this. I was very surprised when I first gave it a try, as I didn't think I would like it. But now? I want to trade in my husband for this hunky peice of equipment! My love knows no bounds. Seriously! My husband is getting very jealous of how much I appreciate the kind voice control and does NOT like it when I kiss the display! Its alright when he kisses his teddy bears though apparently, but weird when I kiss my kind, loving, gentle say nav. Well I say! That is truly rich. But seriously buy the sat nav. It's amazing

Has great value for its price.

If nothing else, that's one thing i thank firms like Acer and its v200 for. This compact unit is a member of the aforementioned avalanche of 'generic' portable sat-navs. It runs Windows CE Core 5.0 with Destinator 6 (the PNA – personal navigation assistant - version) carrying the burden of mapping duties. It's based on Navteq maps.

In theory this line-up should be able to compete with offerings from the likes of TomTom, Garmin and in particular Mio, whose products run on the same operating system core. Alas, the sum of the v200's various parts is rather less than one might hope for.

In fact its palm-sized chassis is solidly built and is nicely pocketable. It has a decent speaker on it, making audio instructions clear and easy to hear. i love the way it starts and moves to the guide interface, really fast and straight forward. Its mini-USB connector at the right hand side on the bottom edge is easily accessible, even when the v200 is sitting in its windscreen mount. There are external volume controls here too which I term awesome.

The Acer v200 series transportable navigators are fantastic for any one searching for a consumer-welcoming navigator with a smooth and compact style and design. The three.five display screen is huge and luminous and the uncomplicated-to-use navigation program put together with the newest Navteq maps assure a protected and soothing journey. This is my best journey companion I must say. i am In love with this device as it has helped me with a lot journeys i have made.

Outstanding value for money, arrived instantly and in great order. I would hugely recommend for other people to obtain this product.

      Advantages

      • "You will be navigated "

      Disadvantages

Its an awesome GPS it works totally awesome

The ACER computer makes a decent begin with a manual volume control on the outside, making snappy conformities moving a couple of catch flicks away. A quick startup takes you instantly to the guide show and with a refreshingly speedy time to first settle of under a moment you're up and running quickly. The greatest quality of the V200 is ease of use, which it fulfills by putting the greater part of the most key data you'd require on a trip inside simple scope. A solitary press on any of various ranges and it will take you to the excursion schedule, change your trek PC data or change the guide from 2D to 3D or night mode. Somewhere else you're given pretty much the perfect measure of extra control, with a complete rundown of POIs (purposes of investment), a multi-stop course organizer and passerby mode. You can likewise peruse the guide physically by pressing and dragging to move the current area, multiplying it up pleasantly as a versatile street chart book if need be. Maps are genuinely fundamental yet clear, and we were inspired by both the clarity and precision of the talked bearings and the pace at which it can at first arrangement a trip or recalculate on the off chance that you take a wrong turn. In the event that you choose to explore outwardly, you shouldn't have an excess of issues by and large however it would have been decent if the "following crossing point" shaft were a bit bigger to make mood killers in occupied zones all the more promptly clear initially. You won't discover extra peculiarities, for example, a MP3 player, travel aides, Bluetooth or implicit computerized cam here, yet at this value point you truly can't gripe. What we're truly inspired by is whether it does the fundamentals well; a region that some family unit names may even concede they've slipped on every so often. I am happy with the navigation system and I do recommend to to anyone.

An easy to use, compact GPS which is perfect for those who travel frequently.

My family tend to travel a lot by car (I suppose we're modern half-nomads?), and we often go on extensive journeys mainly from the North of England to around the London area. In this sense I think it's ideal for those who travel a lot, and should you only use this GPS occasionally, then you'd be paying too much for the extras it offers. It has a reasonable recommended price of £119 but my father was lucky enough to purchase it at 20% off. I personally don't use the GPS as extensively as my family, but I am the one who sets it up and thus actually know more about it. It is good for the following reasons:

      - On turning the V200 on it's pleasing to see a pretty fast loading time for the maps and an equally fast time to first fix – less than a minute for us. You’re taken straight to the map view which updates to show your current location; it also offers to show you extra information
      - You can change the display mode or customise the information on the screen directly from the map display, and this is much better than having to go off the screen and it's easy to do so whilst you're on the move
      - It is a compact unit and does not grossly block your view when in use
      - It has a separate volume control, perfect if your hearing isn't the best like my mother's
      - It has a soft power off switch and has not frozen once in the dozens upon dozens of times it has been used
      - Includes multi-stop planning, a pedestrian mode and free map browsing (basically making planning your route less of a hassle when you take the time to apply these functions)
      - The V200 calculates journeys quickly and is accurate in terms of showing where you are on the road
      - Voice directions are well timed and clear so you don't panic

The only con that I can think of with this is that as you're about to take a turn, an arrow pops up indicating that direction - this could do with being a little bigger. Overall, it is excellent value for money and a GPS that I would recommend buying: Acer is a reliable brand.

Appeals to those who don't need a host of extra features on an in-car navigator.

Preloaded on removable SD card are full maps of the UK, which can be updated at a later time or you could get the UK and Europe version of the guide rather for an additional £30.

An indispensable tool in the road

My wife and I really love to travel and to spend time studying the map, we decided bought a Navigator. They began to look around the shops, but for a very long time could not decide what to take, what would and was not expensive and has completed all its functions. So we ended Navigator Acer V200 GPS.
Somehow figured out what was happening in the settings. And his first test, he passed with excellent. We traveled only at night. Fewer cars and not so hot. And Navigator, honestly practiced spent money on it. Never made a mistake. Told where it is necessary to reduce the speed at which the road works. And along the way there were many. Slept in spurts. But I will say: no Navigator would have lost. Rescued, delivered to the right place. Navigation is excellent, shows everything in detail. Errors if there are then only because of their own wrong route settings.
Now I will say a little about the feature:
Navigator Acer V200 GPS has a 3.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 320x240 pixels, the processor Samsung S3C2442XL with a clock frequency of 300 MHz. It has 64 MB RAM, 64 MB flash memory and an expansion slot for memory cards format SD/MMC, and also built-in speaker 1 W.
It also comes with software Destinator 6 and 512 MB SD memory card. Powered receiver from the lithium-ion battery 1100 mAh, which provides up to three hours of continuous work. The weight of the Navigator 172 gr. Due to its small size, it does not obstruct the view.
We travel to different cities and at a great distance. And after the purchase of the Navigator became much more comfortable, faster and more convenient.
