What a great little device... This is another version of the ever so popular tom tom. This version is around the same price and just as good. The navigation system is pretty small and is silver in colour. It is not square, and is slightly oblong. The sat nav screen attaches to your window by a suction method, you can tilt and turn this to your desire The navigation system is in colour and displays the map in 3d for you to find your way. Garmin nuvi 300

After much research I found the traffic alert facility is free for life on Garmins and the reviews on their systems seemed good, so I ordered a Garmin nuvi 300T on Amazon which was the cheapest price I found (£179). The T after it means this one comes with a separate traffic alert bit…but more of that later! Garmin nuvi 310

Being a first time SAT NAV user I found both the Price and the ease of use to be amazing. I tried the Garmin nuvi 310 in my local Staples store, and the manager allowed me to enter post codes to search by, and get a true feel for the product. When you submit the post code / address you want to go, you can press the detor option, incase of road problems and it gives your a secondary route (if avaliable). As with all SAT NAV s it gives you the average speed and the estimated time it thinks you will be at your destination.
