Excellent value Premium Starter GPS watch, let down by PC data transfer interface

This is my second forerunner having used the Forerunner 205 model previously - this was a natural follow on model being the successor to the 205. It will be familiar to 205 users, however it has tweaked an improved on almost all aspects which made that a success.
Firstly this is one of the easiest GPS watches to read, with the screen customisable to show up to 4 different data displays at one. This makes it very useful if you like to see Time/Distance/Speed/Heart Rate on the same screen at once without having to manually scroll through. Although other GPS watches also have this function none of them are as clear to read whilst running.
The number of different data fields one can select from is very impressive and covers almost every type you could want. The main missing one for me is one that shows average 'moving' speed.
The alerts are also extremely useful and one can set alerts based on either time/distance/pace/speed. This is particularly useful is you are running/cycling longer routes where it is extremely handy to have the alarm go off to tell you when you have done another, say, 5 kilometers. The device is also suitable for both running and cycling with specific functionality depending on which sport you are doing. It has swimming functionality as well, making it suitable for triathletes, but i have not used this.
In use, i have found the watch to be commendably robust and it is showing very little signs of wear despite extensive use.
The main drawback is not actually with the watch at all but with the manner in which you sync the watch data with your PC via either Garmin ANT Agent or Garmin Express. This connection has proven very unreliable for me and i constantly have to re-pair the watch with the ANT agent in order to get the data off the watch, which does become annoying.
In summary this is a very good value first GPS watch, it is easy to use and has enough functionality for anyone but the advanced triathlete. If the PC interface was more reliable it would get 5 stars.
