I don't go and exercise anywhere without my Garmin 410 on my arm. The data it collects from the heart rate monitor and using the GPS is fantastic and using the ANT+ USB stick with the ANT+ software and Garmin Connect provide anyone with more than enough data about their performance. I think the most surprising thing for me was how simple it is to use. All the features are straight forward and it is literally like a plug and play. There are a number of other accessories which I have bought for both my running and cycling needs, being the Cadence monitor for my bike and the shoe attachment for footfalls. Definitely recommended 9/10. My only gripe with it is that it hurts my wrist when I am running and is a bit bulky. Fine for cycling as just wrap it around the handle bars and off you go. Heart monitor is a little bit uncomfortable but fine. I recently did a 1200km trip of 150km a day on my bike and the battery was lasting about 7-8 hours with the heart rate monitor on as well.
