I bought this Sat Nav on the advice of the sales representative, who told me that Garmin Sat Navs are much faster at receiving a satellite signal and determining your location than other popular brands. Having used other brands, I think he may be right. But it seems that this is not the only thing to make this product an excellent choice. Whilst using a friend's Sat Nav, I noticed, for instance, that it would tell you verbally which exit to take at a roundabout, but it did not display the exit number on the screen, only a constantly moving picture of it.
