Advantages: Easy to use, Long Battery Life, Zoom in and out of maps.

Being a first time SAT NAV user I found both the Price and the ease of use to be amazing.
I tried the Garmin nuvi 310 in my local Staples store, and the manager allowed me to enter post codes to search by, and get a true feel for the product.

When you submit the post code / address you want to go, you can press the 'detor' option, incase of road problems and it gives your a secondary route (if avaliable).
As with all SAT NAV's it gives you the average speed and the estimated time it thinks you will be at your destination.

You can download a 90 day free version of the 'Speed Camera' locations, this will alert you and notify you of the speed limit in the area your are passing.

Optional extra is the FM traffic reciever, which gives you details on where there are traffic black spots.

It also has an SD memory card slot, which you can load music on and use it as an MP3 player.

All in all, this is an excellent product, and very durable.

Summary: Great little SAT NAV, well worth the money.
