Great and affordable (Garmin nuvi 550)
Member Name: gemma88
Advantages: Easy to use, clever memory and gets me where i need to be safely and quickly Disadvantages: None, it keeps its charge well and even looks quite stylish After buying my first car this was my first sat nav. I admit i am not very good with technology, gadgets etc so expected it would be difficult to use, however i have found it very easy! It saves a lot of the post codes you have previously used (these can be deleted if you want) so there is no need to type in a postcode for every journey, only new journeys. It is very helpful in that it tells you which lane to be in etc (great for new drivers who are wary of switching lanes!). It tells me my speed, warns me when i am near a speed camara and will 'ping' at me if i am going too fast if a speed camera is near. The maps appear very up to date and when i bought it the man in the shop explained both Garmin and TomTom are the most reliable to buy as the companies are so big there is les risk of thm going bust during the credit crunch. This means online updates will always be available, unlike smaller companies, such as Navigon and Navman which may be at risk by the credit crunch. Overall very happy with it! Summary: Perfect, would definently recomend. |

Good unit which will not let you down
A fantastic unit, bg price differences though
Garmin Nuvi 205WT at a £120.00 is very good value for money.

Good easy to use budget GPS
Is the Tom Tom One really the one?
