I have a Tom Tom One 3rd edition for great britain, and it is the answer to all drivers navigation problems, The portable navigation device, simply plugs into the cigarette light of the car and slids into the holder on the wind screen or dash board and your ready to go.

The Sat Nav is very easy to use and has the latest maps and technoligie and is very affordable.

you have the option of either planing a route from a - b, or you can navigate to an address or town name. It also plans the route, how you would wish, whether you wanted the fastest route, routes avoiding tolls and route avoiding motor wasys etc.

The sat nav them displays the route on the screen, while also directing you with the sat nav voice ( of which there are many)

I have become very reliant on my sat nav as it mean no need for maps, but i do advise that sat navs do require a little bit of common sense, because even the tom tom one, does seem to get a litttle lost a times!

I would recommended anyone to get a sat nav, they are brilliant, especially, when they warn you that there is a speed camera ahead.
