Advantages: Easy to use and finds all locations straight away
Disadvantages: Sometimes the signal is a slight problem
I have had my tomtom 2 years now since passing my test. I moved away at go to university and without tomtom I wouldn't have got anywhere. When moving to a new place tomtom has allowed me to go anywhere I want and to get home with ease.
Tomtom is very easy touch screen system to use and has a battery life of two hours. You can also plug tomtom into your cigarette lighter to charge the battery. Tomtom fits nicely on the windscreen. Tomtom can be updated online with the use of many services such as traffic news and location of speed cameras - saving you both time and money. I often drive with my music fairly loud and I can still hear tomtom and the lighting is excellent allowing it to be just as visible at night time.
I had no idea of the new area I had moved into but tom toms point of interest facility allowed me to find many areas of interest near to my home such as petrol station, restaurants, cash machines and many more. This is also extremetly useful along route when you are driving a long distance and need to know the closest petrol station amonst many other things. Tomtom always tell yous the distance and how long the journey will take which I think is extremely beneficial.
Tomtom has always been extremely useful to me when roads have been closed or there has been an accident. You simply click find an alternative route and it works out the quickest new route for you straight away.
I simply couldn't live without my tomtom and would recommend everyone purchased one as it makes driving alot less stressful for you and the map reader :)
Summary: Most reliable and relied on item I've bought
