My son says I have the navigational skills of a brick and bought me this as a Christmas present. I don't know how I managed without it (although over reliance might be becoming an issue!). I find it really easy to use and the touch screen simple to navigate. Although the map screen is quite understandable I rely mostly on the voice instructions. I've actually driven all the way from Leeds to Aberdeen with only 'Jane the Tom Tom lady' for company. And she got me there!

I have experienced a couple of problems when roads have been closed due to roadworks etc but if you pull over and choose 'Find alternative' she figures it all out. Even when I miss a turning she often finds another way round without having to tell me to 'Turn around when possible'. Those of a nervous imposition might find the speed camera alert sound makes you jump but better that than getting a fine. I've recently started an additional part time job which involves travelling to new destinations so have found my Tom Tom invaluable.

In summary, well worth the money, simple to use and, more often than not won't let you down.
