Advantages: ease of use, clearly seen, fast and good satellite connection

Disadvantages: no case to carry it all in when not leaving it in the car

I bought a TomTom One last Christmas from Halfords Car shop (UK) for around £110. It was a christmas sale but i reckon you can buy them even cheaper than that online now. i have never looked back, it is amazing how you can get so used to something! i never leave for a roadtrip without it. have gone huge distances across england scotland and republic of ireland without having to think about it really.
It comes complete with usb leads, manual, charger and window-sticky thing! which one down side is that it leaves horrible marks on the window... nothing a bit of window pledge cant sort though! it has a small neat screen and is very compact. Its super- easy to use, one click on the screen brings up all the options you need. There are editable day and night colours, zoom in the map, change the voices, warning sounds etc. The tom tom gives very clear instructions and the map is visually very clear. It even beeps when there are speed cameras around!

Summary: superb entry level tomtom. forget the other makes this is the way forward!
