I don t need directions but I want this thing on so I can use it as handsfree kit and I quite like the map view. How do you cancel it? How? How I ask you? Well you can if you find the button to show everything in the menu and then tirelessly find where the cancel navigation is. book you get an idea of the journey ahead, which part of the country you re going to, whether you re going north or south etc. With the Sat Nav Tomtom i find it more limiting unless you want to spend a lot of time trawling through the mini map to keep seeing which road will be next. Sometimes the routes it shows are not the most logicial which is where a map book is always going to be of superior quality. It is a very good device I think for a woman on her own. When driving along I don t particularly like having to pull in and check a map book, especially at night, so i find that the tomtom comes in useful then.
