... I followed the "quick start" guide, I was up and running within minutes. It was real fun using this software while driving, and showing-off this novelty to friends. The small screen on the mobile was not an issue, as maps were very clear and sound instructions were quite good. I purchased tomtom mobile for my Orange SPV C500 when it first arrived in the market. The concept of having GPS navigation system in the mobile was quite new that time. The standalone tomtom was around £400 and was quite chuncky. So I opted to go for this mobile version for £160, and I already had the smartphone to go with it. I first inserted the SD card loaded with TomTom software into Nokia 6600 and once I followed the "quick start" guide, I was up and running within minutes.
