Rating:
switiching it on for a few minutes before starting your journey. The Tomtom has been fairly useful to me on long journeys, for example out of the city and on the motorways, however, i would not recommend this product for those who want to use it for city driving. Having tried to use it around London, I often find myself getting frustrated by it and switching it off. It is constantly telling me to turn left into no left turn roads and asking me to turn into roads which do not exisit. For those this long journeys and motorway miles I think this product is great, however, if you drive in the city, I would suggest sticking to the road ...

-Background Just got one of these 3 weeks ago, and have now made a few journeys on it. I went for this model, over the Tomtom One because this one has the larger screen. -Features- The TomTom system is very user friendly and easy to use. It can give you the options of having the fastest route, avoid motorways, shortest route, and walking and cycling directions. The view can be changed from 3D to 2D, and the voice directions work really well as they are clear and tell you in plenty of time before you need to change direction. It provides the information such as how many miles you have left to go, and the expected time of arrival (which updates accordingly if you are in ...

I got the Tom Tom XL for my birthday in April. I wasn t bothered what I got I just wanted a Sat Nav but my husband researched what was available and decided that I should have the new Tom Tom XL and not just any Sat Nav system. At the time of his purchase he believed that this was the best one on the market. Before my Tom Tom I only drove to work, nursery, Tesco and round the area I live. I live near Leeds but the thought of driving to Sheffield, Manchester, Halifax, Bradford etc just terrified me. Now I have my Tom Tom I feel I can go anywhere and not worry about getting lost. Having this Tom Tom has improved my confidence so much. You don t get a charger with ...
