Hercules 3D Prophet 9500 Pro ... recently decided it was time to purchase a new graphics card. One reason being that I tried to play a demo version of Battlefield 1942 by EA and all I got was a black screen and weird looking lines. I soon realised this problem wasn't been caused by EA's superb Battlefield 1942 software. The old graphics card didn't have enough memory to cope. Simple has that. Just a quick point on Battlefield 1942. There are now more than 10 quality complete mods for the game, meaning you can buy B1942 and it's like buying 10 games in one. You just download the mods you fancy playing and they are full online games in there own right with custom maps too. Un... Pixelview Geforce4 Ti 4200 ... I can say about this card is that it really lives up to the other Ti cards, and other high - performing GeForce Ti 4200's made by other manufacturers. The card produces wonderful quality images and really good color, as well as TV output for the movie buffs out there. Gameing on the card is absolutly brilliant and fast as hell. The clock speeds can be pushed right up to that equivalant of a Ti 4400, and no extra cooling is required for the card to be stable. FSAA and AF (Full Scene Anti - Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering) are relatively quick with this card and don't slow down gameplay too hectically.
