Edition ... first say that this is a great card for the money. so lets get to it with this card. it is a great card for all your multimedia needs featuring a duel DVI ports also with the pack you receive all the normal adapters DVI to VGA ect but it also comes with a DVI to HDMI adapter great for watching and playing on your big screen tv. this has 256Mb of GDDR3 memory. GDDR3 is faster than GDDR2 and therefore is better for all applications. when playing games it keeps up and is surprisingly good, ok it won t beat a GTX but it s great for the money. i gets around 40-57 frames on the newest games like Call of Duty 4 & 5. as with all Geforce Units it features plug and play as... XFX GeForce 7900GT Extreme Edition ... graphics intensive games. The card still stands up to new games today and you can also team two of them up using SLI technology. The XFX range of this card look great with a decent size heatsinc and fan to disipate the heat well. This also allows you to overclock the card should you wish to get some extra speed out of the card. The 256MB RAM on board the card really help performance too and i find that once i have loaded a game up, the performance becomes a lot smoother as the memory gets filled up and cached. XFX GeForce FX 5200 ... hate onboard graphics, all they do is eat RAM and never perform at the resolutions you want to work with, let alone game with. So there I was, building up a PC i was primarily going to use for data recovery. A PC i that had a drive bay I could slap in someones HDD and get all their data off it. As I had a 32" LCD tv in the bedroom I thought lets put it in there, then I can watch movies on the network on it too. I do play PC gaes, but usuall on my main PC< and they are usually stratey, not FPS which require high end graphcs.
