... off, I would like to say that if you are looking for a high performance gaming card, this certainly isn t it. It would, however, serve perfectly well as a media PC card, especially since it has a bult in HD video decoding chip. Another great feature is the TV output function. It is fully HD compatible and the software supplied will allow you to customize the resolution to fit you monitor / TV. As well as the so... XFX GeForce FX 5200 ... what others will tell you, this is a GREAT card. I have one in my old / spare / back-up PC and it works a treat. If you have a slimmed version of Vista you can install it on a reasonable PC and this card not only allows for Vista Aero, but also for Dream Scene and Desk Scapes !! However if you are looking for a card to play modern (post 07) games then i would strongly recommend the following card http://members.dooyoo.co.uk/graphic-cards/xfx-geforce-8800-gtx/1096616/ I use the FX 5200 on my spare pc and the 8800 on my grand e. Conclusion - 5200 is great card, runs vista, xp and other os just fine. war craft 1, 2 and 3 as well as world of warcraft all play bea... Sapphire Radeon 9550 ... graphic card I bought to my brand new PC about 5-6 years ago and it is still sitting there. Straight away have to point how good and durable this card is. For all this years I haven t had any troubles with it, even haven t had to remove it from AGP socket, except of cooler routine cleaning. I bought it because of high parameters and good specification when using graphic programs. Obviously I mean high parameters like for 2001 year. I have to mention that I was rendering images and scenes from 3ds max, editing pictures in Photoshop Corel and other similar software and Radeon was doing great job every single time. Have never failed me and probable because... Read the full review: Radeon 9550 -Great Graphic Card by baker85 |

XFX GeForce 6800 GT ... I am trying to think about what a potential buyer will be thinking right now, all I can come up with is how much faster than my current card is this one? Will it get rid of my choppy frame rate? Well the card I decided to upgrade from was an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro and once I upgraded to this card Doom3 ran like a charm and FarCry well it actually ran, and no to mention the vast improvement given to Half Life 2. My suggestion to any one really wanting to know how well a card can perform is to visit www.tomshardware.com and look over the VGA chart to make a fully informed decision. My review may also help you make an informed choice OK on the day this card arrived I ope... Read the full review: The 6800 GT packs a serious punch! by codiak |
