Advantages: Good input support, Exelent software, Good colour output

Disadvantages: Huge cable out of the back, Lack of on-board features, Minimal blending operations

After the exelent success of the VooDoo 1 and 2 graphics cards, the voodoo 3 was a must for me to buy...unfortunatelly.
I plugged the graphics card in, and plugged in its oh-so-many heavy cables, and off I went.
Amazed for a month or so at how good it was.. untill things went topsy-turvy.
Games looking rather strange for example..
This card has a serious lack of blending oparations available to it.. and the ones it cant do, it guesses at.. and dosent guess to well. Walls with objects layered wrong.. solid windows.. warped light-maps. All things you dont expect for such a price!!
I put up with this tho.
The card comes with some amazing software allowing you to tweak it till it shines (sort of) and the colour output is incredible!
All very nice and all, untill the heavy cable plugged into the back warps and breaks the port, making everything rather blury on screen.. I soon fixed this tho by stacking books behind my PC proping the cable up a bit which fixed it... untill the books fell!
I cant yell at the cable to much tho.. it allows you to plug nearly anything into your graphics card.. web-cams, Digital cameras.. TV's via scart.. all very nice, and in a pretty shade of blue also.. just dont go tugging at the cable to much.
After this there is the mild problem of misplacing the huge cable when moving the PC.. the card dosent run without the beast on the back you see... and I lost the cable.. which lead me to buying a new graphics card.
Performance-wise it is a great card. Not to many fancy features. no texture compression, no anti-aliasing, no hardware T&L...
Hmm, thinking about it, I cant think of any specific performance giving features it does have.. oh dear.
To put it bluntly, this card is poo. Dont buy it, ever, or you WILL regret it!
