My computer had this graphics card installed when I first bought it. I was pleased to hear that it fetured a TV reciever. I thought GREAT! a TV on my computer! I unpacked all of my computer boxes and I found a round purple box with a great chunk on wire protruding from it. I thought "What the hell is this thing?" Anyways I read ... Read the complete review

I had always been a 3DFX fanatic, I bought the original 'Voodoo' card when it was released. I was amazed at how it made my 133mhz Pentium better than a Playstation (just!). Of course, I purchased the 'Voodoo2' and was pleased with the increased performance and detail. When I bought the 'Voodoo3 3000' I wasn't amazed ... Read the complete review

I bought a Voodo 3 3000 AGP in autumn of 2000 after a bad experience with an nvidia TNT2 Model 64 (see my opinion elsewhere on dooyoo). I paid £71 for this card, the price being this low mainly because it has been superceded by newer and faster cards. But then again, so has my old Celeron 433... Installation was a doddle, both ... I know this card is now a old boy in the league of svga 3d 3dfx cards, but i am no great game player and it has done a very good job for me for about a year now with no problems. If u want a tip i have detected this card runs very hot while it runs so a fan mounted from a pentium fan does the buisness and keeps it cool and very functional this ... Read the complete review

The V3 3000 is a good graphics card. It will cope well with all the games you throw at it, and it even outputs them to a TV screen with decent quality for larger sized gaming if this is what you want. Even though it has been superceded, most notably by the NVidia GEForce2 range which are magnicifent cards, this is still a very respectable card ... Read the complete review

I recently purchased a new computer, I didn't want to spend over £100 on a 3dfx card so I chose the Voodoo 3 3000. Costing just £99, I didn't really expect astounding graphics. I was wrong, when combined with an Amd Athlon Thunderbird 850, the graphics were supreme. I regularly run online Halflife on 1024x968 with no interuptions or ... Read the complete review

This card is well outof fdate now - everyone knows it. Therefore there is no need to get into the debate about how there are other more powerfull cards etc... However, when the performance of the card (and its other 3dfx brothers) is lower that that of the original TNT (let it be slightly overclocked) which is 1 year older, you cant give it a ... I love this card! I've been in and around computers since 1992. It was my Dad's fault really, he used to own a small independant computer business and I used to get lumped on him during the holidays as my Mum didn't want to take me to work with her. Anyway, Dad had to find something to do with me and eventually he ... Read the complete review

3DFX have released a great card in the Voodoo 3 3000, and although it is now slightly ageing, it still offers wonderful visuals and great performance for the price at which it currently sells. Now superseded by the 5500 and soon the 6000, the 3000 comes with three full games, and another great point about this card is the support – many ... Read the complete review

I have questioned many times, after up grading from a Voodoo2 to the Voodoo3 3000 AGP, whether it was actually worth doing. One thing I must say is that the Voodoo3 is substantially faster than the Voodoo2, mainly because of it being AGP. The other feature which makes 3 better then 2 is the TV output, which can make DVD videos look great and ... Read the complete review

Can't really tell you the tech stuff on this but what i can tell you is its a screamer of a card. Personally im a Voodoo fan so your going to get a totally biased opinion im afraid. Not the top of the range anymore so get one of these for a good price but that said and the fact that it has only 16 meg of on board ram i still think it can hold ... Read the complete review

This is basically a very good graphics card. It plays games at a very high frame rate giving outstanding performance using glide drivers. Most games are specifically written with the voodoo 3 in mind so there are no problems with drivers. The only problem is that it is over priced. It only has 16mb of ram, it does not have 32 bit support or a 32 ... Read the complete review

The voodoo family of graphics card in their day were the only and the dominating group of graphics cards. After the launch of the Voodoo 3 series many other brands made competiting cards with hot competition. This card is only 16 mb and suports OPEN GL, Direct 3d, 3d glide, etc... It ofers hi resolutions, in some cases 1600 * 1200. The ... Read the complete review

the Voodoo 3 3000, no question it had speed. The card was fast, fast enough to cope with all the games that could be thrown at it. But the card has its problems, firstly the fact it can only do 24 bit colour, maybe not top of your priority lists but I have had 4mb Trident cards that can do 32bit colour its hardly new technology. ... What a card! Although it isnt packed with loads of those new fancy pancy features you find in some of the other modern graphics cards, it makes up for this short fall with its sheer speed. I managed to clock it at 80fps on unreal tournament when nothing else was running. Its blistering performance is coupled with the TV out which i have yet ... Read the complete review

This card is the 13th wonder of the world. It has the best compatability of any card ive seen and it runs all new games like quake 3 and unreal tournament with no probs at all dependant on the processor of course. With the high clock speed this card supports good refresh rates and does betwee 30 & 40 fps usually unless it is under great strain ... Read the complete review

Ive had a Voodoo1, a Banshee and at Christmas got the Voodoo3 3000 AGP. OK, so it doesnt have as good image quality as a TNT or G400, it doesnt have 32bit colour, but on my K62 500 it runs like a dream. If you look in the 3Dfx forums, you'll see lots of people having lots of problems. But check out the TNT forums and you'll see ... Read the complete review
