Palit GeForce 9600GT:

Asus A9550/TD/128 ... purchased this graphics card a few years ago for around £40 as an upgrade for an AGP Shuttle system. Now the price is much lower, so you could probably get it for around £20 or less. The only purpose for this card was to play Outrun, which the standard motherboard could not run very well. Also this card has the important DVI output. Like any other AGP graphics card, you simply stick in the AGP slot, boot up the computer and install the drivers. At the monitor s native 1440x900 resolution, the graphics card is not quite able to able to play Outrun at 60 fps. The game struggles slightly, however downloading a piece of overclocking software called ATITool increases perf... Read the full review: A reliable graphics card by shuttlex |

Asus EAH4850/HTDI/512M ... time came to replace my graphics card I asked around my friends, and read reviews and consistently heard good things about the ATI HD4850. At around £110 it was a low-mid range price, with many sources reporting that it was performing similarly to £500+ cards. Once I had settled on the HD4850, I used dabs.com to search for a card. Although there were cheaper cards, I chose the ASUS as it is a brand I am familiar with and trust to give good quality. When it arrived and I installed it in my machine I was suprised at how much better than my old card (ATI x1950 Pro) it was. It can happily run almost anything I throw at it on full settings. I have used it to run: Call... Read the full review: A good price and spec card by pudder |

BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC ... have had this graphics card now for roughly two years. It has been able to run most games that have come out in those years on full settings, excluding very graphics hungry games like Crysis and Grid; but will still play them. The fact that it comes overclocked by BFG was a big selling point for me, as I knew if I tried to do it manually I would probably break it. However, there are some issues with this graphics card. The first fact is that it gets hot. Not ridiculously, but a lot of graphics cards at the same price have much better cooling systems. Number two is the installation of the card. It is very big, and therefore blocks up pci slots, so if you have lots of add...
