Zotac GeForce 9600GT Synergy Edition ... can i say!!! For the money i spent on the card it really does what it says on the box. The GDDR3 512mb ram really helps push this budget monster. And doubled with an AM2+ 7750 processor with 2.7gb per clock and 2gb of DDR2 800mhz ram, this baby flys!! Was a little sceptical at playing all the latest games maxed out, but, wow! Superb performance. Even Crisis was pushed at very high with smoothish play. ( Tried it on ultra, played well but some slowdown ) If like me you have a 19in widescreen LCD monitor then you are laughing. Plus when future games start to slow the card down, then overclock it. PNY GeForce 9 9400GT ... bought two of these cards to drive 4 displays for a work PC. In terms of performance they have been fine. 2d performance in Aero under Vista is unsurprisingly faultless. I haven t had much call to test the 3d performance - plenty of detail available on google earth, but I m sure the latest and greatest would be more appropriate for serious gamers or 3d graphics design. One area that has concerned me is reliability. Of the two cards I bought three months ago, one now suffers intermittent fan failures. Sapphire Radeon X1950 PRO ... you have an AGP motherboard this is an excellent option for decent graphics performance. I was impressed with the results when I installed this card, however it is not without it s problems. The major issue I had with this board was actually it s length. Admittedly my case is a little on the old side, however I did find that this card actually had to be installed with a slight bend in order to avoid toughing the disk drive bays. However that aside I have been impressed by the card s performance. It happily runs games such as COD4, HL2 etc with no problems at all.
