ATI Radeon 64MB DDR:
... powerful video card was retailing for £250. If u check price compare u may be able to find it cheaper. This video card gives you 64MB of 5.5ns DDR memory running at 166MHz. DDR (Double Data Rate) memory provides a double memory bandwidth over your typical SDRAM SDR, (Single Data Rate) this means a faster performance. The original plan was 200MHz and the first ones actually came out with 183MHz and the new one... Read the full review: video power plus by |

Creative 3D Blaster Banshee ... all 3D games released nowadays require some sort of 3D acceleration card above and beyond your computer's basic video card. In recent years, the most popular chipset has been the Voodoo chipset from 3Dfx. Setting the standard for most of the industry. Of course, in order to run the 3D card, you also need a 2D card to run non-3D applications (such as your desktop, word processor, 2D games, etc.). The solution? The 3D Blaster Banshee from Creative Labs. The 3D Blaster Banshee card is a 16MB 2D/3D card running on the Voodoo2 chipset. Being a 16MB card, the 3D Blaster Banshee from Creative Labs can run almost any resolution you can imagine. I was able to run appl... Read the full review: Its served me well !! by |

Guillemot 3D Prophet 2 MX ... card is easy to install and configure, and very fast. I've got the 32Mb version. It comes with an overclocking utility which I haven't touched yet because it doesn't have a fan, and I think it's quick enough. It handles Grand Prix 3 and Colin McRae Rally 2 really well, and I'm yet to come up against a game that doesn't run smoothly in 800x600. Most popular games run smoothly at higher resolutions, and Quake II and the Thief 2 demo that came with the card are happy at 1024x768 (with Quake II running in OpenGL mode). As far as I can tell the drivers for the card are very stable - no real problems so far with most of the games I play. I sup... Read the full review: Graphics power on the cheap by pnewnham |

Leadtek Winfast Geforce2 GTS ... let me state, I do not own a Geforce 2 GTS graphics card YET but when I buy a new card in the next few months this will be top of my shopping list. My nVidia TNT 2 Pro graphics card is becoming a little long in the tooth and I have a need....a need for speed. As my old card was made by Leadtek, I will be purchasing the Leadtek Geforce 2 GTS card. So why the Geforce 2 GTS, rather than it's big brother the ULTRA, or indeed it's little brother the MX? To understand you first need to know the differences. The Geforce 2 Ultra is exactly the same chip as the GTS except for one respect. Ultra chips are hand picked because they will run at a higher clock spee... Read the full review: I'm getting one soon by cjkace |
