ATI Xpert 98 ... Ati Xpert 98 video card is now quite an old video card, having been around for about three years now. It was one of ATI’s earliest AGP offerings. The card is based on the 64bit Rage Pro chipset from ATI, which has also featured in a number of other ‘Xpert’ cards from the company. The card has 8MB of video ram onboard, offers up to 24bit colour for both 2D and 3D rendering and can shift around 1.25 million triangles per second, courtesy of its triangle set-up engine. ATI All-In-Wonder Pro ... All in Wonder propbably the only graphics card so far manufactured which allows you to play games, edit movies, watch TV, has DVD support and hear sound. The name for this card is spot on. This card so far goes upto 32MB works without giving any problems with 95, 98 and 98SE but does not allow all the features of the card when installed on Windows 2000 Pro or Windows 2000 Server. There is a slight bug in the first edition of this card i.e. when u come out of the TV you get the error saying illegal operation. This may be sorted out with more recent drivers. Creative 3D Blaster Voodoo2 ... thing may be old, but it is still a good card. I admit though, there have been some major breakthroughs in the last year, and other 3dfx cards have entered the higher end of the market, after the Voodoo2 from Creative Labs pretty much having the monopoly. It's a strong card and well manufactured, and that's why the Voodoo2 hasn't become obsolete, despite the great advances in computer technology. If you can't afford a new card, and need something a little cheaper, this is a definite. It can still handle a lot of top games ('Half-life', 'AVP' 'Armada' etc.) as long as you have it beside a good 2d card, (I recommend the '...
