Gainward Bliss 9600GT PCX DisplayPort Golden Sample ... Gainward Bliss 9600GT PCX DisplayPort Golden Sample came with my desktop pc when I had it built about a year ago. I let the pc guy pick some of the hardware for me and the graphics card being one providing it was a good one. The Gainward Bliss 9600GT PCX DisplayPort Golden Sample is basically the Nvidia 9600GT graphics card with a few extras in the box such as a Tomb Raider game (the remake of the 1st) The Nvidia 9600GT is PCIe 2.0 compatible which means that when paired with an identical 9600-based graphics card you can double the output. Therefore you could have 2 512Mb graphics cards acting as 1 GB card. The specs are 512MB Gainward 9600GT,Bliss GS, PCI-E 2.0... Sparkle SF-PX94GT1024U2-HP Passive ... am no expert when it comes to graphics cards, so I won t talk about the technical details here, just about my experience of the card. So, I decided to upgrade it and buy a budget separate graphics card for it. I actually bought this graphics card from a computer dealer at North Weald Market, near Harlow. I needed a card that had a VGA output to a normal lcd monitor (the socket with the blue plastic in it), not the other output that most have these days, I assume they are for high-def... Zotac GeForce 9600GT Synergy Edition ... can i say!!! For the money i spent on the card it really does what it says on the box. The GDDR3 512mb ram really helps push this budget monster. And doubled with an AM2+ 7750 processor with 2.7gb per clock and 2gb of DDR2 800mhz ram, this baby flys!! Was a little sceptical at playing all the latest games maxed out, but, wow! Superb performance. Even Crisis was pushed at very high with smoothish play. ( Tried it on ultra, played well but some slowdown ) If like me you have a 19in widescreen LCD monitor then you are laughing. Plus when future games start to slow the card down, then overclock it. I got over 760mhz clock speed on the invidia control panel by just select... Read the full review: Review of Zotac 9600gt 512mb GDDR3 ( synergy edition ) by Captain Murder |
