3dfx Voodoo3 2000 ... bought a Voodoo 3 2000 AGP in the middle of last year, about July. I got home, opened my case, pulled out my tired old 4MB 2D card and slotted in my new Voodoo beast. I started the computer up and everything installed quite straightforwardly. First things first I set up the desktop and the resolution, I noticed that there were quite a few extra settings to choose from. Then I started to play a game and OH MY GOD it was unbelieveable. The graphics from the card are excellent. I paid only £49.99 for the card and yet whilst I fully realise that you can get better cards for the money it's unbeatable value for money! Elsa Gladiac GeForce2 GTS ... are a few factors that can make a PC run quickly and slowly and the video card is one of them. Having used NVidia based products for around 2 years now, from the faithful TNT to the TNT2 Ultra, the GeoForce was the next logical step. Since upgrading to this card I hadn't noticed too much difference to the games I was playing. That was until I turned up the screen resolution. Imagine running Quake 3 in 1600x1200 on a mere 600Mhz PC. Well, it is possible, thanks to the Gladiac.
