Powercolor HD 4850 ... you get the card i reccomend installing the latest version of catalyst so you can up the fan speed from a low 30% up to 90% (still silent compared to my antec tri cool fans) but do make sure you turn the fan speed up as the factory standard is terribly low If this is the version with the heatsink (it shouldnt be but you may not always know) i reccomend getting extra cooling for it as the heatsink on the 4000 cards is terrible. This card itself has performed very well for me playing games like fallout 3 on 1280 x 1024 resolution with max settings and 4 times AA without any decrease in performance, And because its by ATI and uses catalyst it is very easy to overclock... Sapphire Radeon HD 3450 ... off, I would like to say that if you are looking for a high performance gaming card, this certainly isn t it. It would, however, serve perfectly well as a media PC card, especially since it has a bult in HD video decoding chip. Another great feature is the TV output function. It is fully HD compatible and the software supplied will allow you to customize the resolution to fit you monitor / TV. As well as the software CD (and obviously the graphics card itself), included in the box is a DVI to VGA adapter, useful for people with old (or cheap) displays, and S Video to component video adapter for HD TV s, projectors and some other such devices and an S Video to RCA Vi... Sapphire Radeon HD 3870 ... little outdated now thanks to the 4870, but with every cloud comes a silver lining and now the 3870 is down to about £70, down from the £160 I paid for mine the week after they came out.
