BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC:
... have had this graphics card now for roughly two years. It has been able to run most games that have come out in those years on full settings, excluding very graphics hungry games like Crysis and Grid; but will still play them. The fact that it comes overclocked by BFG was a big selling point for me, as I knew if I tried to do it manually I would probably break it. However, there are some issues with this graphics c... BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC ... 8800 GTS is a now a fairly dated graphics card, it was released by Nvidia back in 2007. Back in 2007 I decided to build my own PC - as I like to play games and use 3d modelling programs It needed to be powerful and have a lot of graphical processing power under its hood. After a lot of research in to graphics cards I realised that the choice would end up being from either ATI or Nvidia. I chose this card. There was no technical reason why I chose Nvidia over Radeon, but unlike ATI cards, I did understand the GeForce naming conventions. Basically, the different cards are sorted in to 3 categories and the letters after the number signify which catergory that card bel... Read the full review: Dated, but still a good option! by Byren |

BFG GeForce 8600 GTS OC ... where do I start. First I would like to say that it runs COD4 and L4D maxed out with no lags or lack of performance at any time. The cheap price of the product and the 256Mb of DDR3 RAM make this a worthy purchase for the computer gamer on a budget. I always use COD4 as a comparison for graphics cards because it is a very demanding game but is not the most demanding so sets a good point to aim for. I would not recommend this card if you just plan to run Vista though as there are much cheaper graphics cards that will handle Vista with ease but have a lower spec. The build quality of the card is not too great and looks like it would break easily however after buying... Read the full review: For the gamer on a budget by aaronphil |

BFG GeForce 8800 GTX OC2 ... bought this graphics card back in 2005 and it s served me well for the last 4 years. It s handled everything I ve thrown at it with ease; from complex rendering in 3DS max to the war game Crysis. It s a great card, capable of doing almost anything and will probably only get caught out in the next generation of games, providing the rest of your rig is up to spec. I was able to pull in a modest 35fps consistently on mostly high detail on Crysis with my modest rig (E6400, 3gb RAM), although the CPU is overclocked to 2.8ghz with an aftermarket cooler also. The specification is as follows: GPU: NVIDIAŽ GeForceŽ 8800 GTX Bus Type: PCI Express Memory: 768MB GDDR3 Core Cloc... Read the full review: Old school power by zeppelin101 |
