... can i say!!! For the money i spent on the card it really does what it says on the box. The GDDR3 512mb ram really helps push this budget monster. PNY GeForce 9 9400GT ... bought two of these cards to drive 4 displays for a work PC. In terms of performance they have been fine. 2d performance in Aero under Vista is unsurprisingly faultless. I haven t had much call to test the 3d performance - plenty of detail available on google earth, but I m sure the latest and greatest would be more appropriate for serious gamers or 3d graphics design. One area that has concerned me is reliability. Of the two cards I bought three months ago, one now suffers intermittent fan failures. When the fan fails, within minutes the GPU temperature shoots up to >100C, until the machine reboots. The machine has been running 24/7, typically under low load, but I... I was trying to build a pretty powerful PC on a budget and when it came to the graphics card I was at something of a loss. There were so many cards available and then there were different versions of each card. After considerable research I ended up choosing this card and it turns out the research was worth it. I m still using the same PC now and although hard drives and monitors have come and gone, this card remains, doing it s job admirably. Nvidia GeForce 9500GT ... have recently got this graphics card then i had to send it back. it is a great card, very powerful and plays flight simulator x extremely well. but it is very large. so before buying it i recommend asking or checking if it fits in your PC. it is very hard to install too, i got it and took me ages to figure a way to install it with out cramping up the hard drive or the CPU. so i had to keep the case open, as it wont close. it overheats very quickly so you would also need a lot of fans. i sent it back and got Geforce 8800gt with Physix. even though it is a little less powerful, it is much smaller, and installation is much easier for starters like me. and it has Physix so ...
